Every producer here runs the same progression, in the same order, on purpose. Each phase is built to teach you one specific thing and keep you profitable while you learn it — starting on free leads, ending with an agency you own.
The whole path at a glance
The first three phases are about becoming a producer who can pay for himself. The last four are about becoming someone other people can be built by.

You don't touch a lead until you're ready. We walk you through your state's licensing course and exam, then put you through Quantum Academy and script training so you understand the product and the conversation before anyone's on the other end.
You dial free aged digital leads. The whole point of this phase is volume of practice — you need a lot of conversations to build the skillset, and here you can get them without spending a dollar on lead flow. You stay profitable from day one because your lead cost is zero.
Now you buy your own aged leads. This is the first time you're putting your own money into lead flow — and that's the lesson. Aged leads are cheap, so you learn what it means to own the numbers and stay profitable while the stakes are still low.
You transition to fresh leads, and the single most important thing in this phase is consistency of lead spend every week. Ninety days is what it takes to actually master it: the process, the lead type, and the avatar you're talking to. This is where producers get made.
Once you've mastered fresh, you transition into the Quantum in-house CRM and in-house leads. This is a profitability step and a longevity step — you're no longer dependent on outside lead vendors, and you're running on a system built for the long term rather than month to month.
At this point you're a genuinely profitable agent, so you've earned the right to build. The mission is your starting five — the first five people you recruit and develop. You're not doing it alone: you leverage your mentors and every system Quantum already has, and we're there to support you. But now you actually know what you're teaching, because you've done it.
Your job stops being "sell more" and becomes "get them to where you are." You take your five through the exact same phases you just walked, and you learn the much harder skill: transferring what you know into somebody else's hands. You get rewarded for it through overrides on their production.
The last phase is the one that compounds. You're no longer building producers — you're building leaders who can build producers without you in the room. That's the point where what you've built stops depending on your calendar and starts being something you actually own.
Why the lead order matters
Most agencies put brand-new agents straight onto expensive fresh leads and let them burn money learning. We do it backwards — you build the skillset where mistakes are cheap, then graduate to leads worth what you've become.
Phase 01
Maximum reps at zero cost. Mistakes here cost you nothing but time.

Your first real lead spend, kept small so the business lesson lands cheaply.

How you get paid
This is the part most people have backwards, so here it is plainly. You are not paid by Quantum. When a family buys a policy and pays their premium, the carrier pays your commission to you.

You're an independent contractor. The carrier pays a commission on the premium of a policy that is issued and stays paid. No policy, no commission — that's the honest version.

"Issued paid" is the number that counts in this business. A submitted application isn't income. It counts once the carrier issues it and the client pays.

Every agent sits at a level on the comp chart, and that level determines what percentage of the premium you're paid. You move up the chart by producing.
The comp grid
Your contract percentage is the share of premium the carrier pays you. Everyone starts at 70% and moves up by producing — the requirements are published below, so there's nothing to negotiate and nothing to guess at. Same work, same leads, bigger cheque.
20%producer max
Producers stay eligible for comp raises at a maximum 20% debt-to-IP ratio. Builder contracts tighten as you climb:
That second rule exists for a reason. It stops you leaning on one strong producer and forces you to build actual depth — the difference between a lucky leg and an agency.
Overrides
Personal production pays you for the month you worked. Overrides pay you for the people you built. That's the difference between having a good year and having something that keeps going.
None of it is passive. An override on a team that doesn't produce is worth exactly zero — which is why we spend the first four phases making sure you can actually teach someone to produce before you go build anything.
